Quirky Tea Room

The Quirky Tea Room at Park View is a welcoming family friendly establishment with that touch of quirkiness. Pop in for our tasty breakfasts,  themed afternoon tea, hot drinks, ice cream, milk shakes and delicious cakes. You can even hire out your own private pod for a celebratory event. Sand & Water

Age: All

Park Views fantastic outdoor sand and water area is themed on the local environment with seaside planting, seating areas and equipment to explore, play and experiment with including water wheels, hand pumps, channels, dams and pulley systems for moving sand. The facility opened in 2015, funded from the Costal Community Fund, and has been a popular addition.

Skate Park

Designed for Skateboarders, in-line skating and BMX riders our skate park is suitable for all ages and offers a great place to congregate, relax and perform in a safe environment. Just remember to bring your helmet

Play Fit

Age: 12+

PlayFit equipment offers gentle exercise outdoors for all ages. We all know it is important to stay active and keep fit. Playfit equipment is designed around the traditional movements of Thai Chi and enables you to perform low impact exercises at your own pace.

Toddler Park

Age: 0-6

Mud Kitchen

Age: 0-10

Our bespoke mud kitchen was created by Acorn Woodcraft and includes workstations, shelves, cupboards and a mud cafe table and benches.  It is a great resource for Forest School activities and to engage our younger visitors with some natural play in the woods.

Teen Area

Age: 12+

BMX Park

Age: 12+

Our BMX dirt track was funded by SITA and we are about to launch a new BMX club with X land Bikes. The track is perfect for beginners and experienced riders. Take a look here;

MUGA

Age: All

The Multi-Use Game Arena (MUGA) was funded by a generous donation of £50,000 from Lawrence House Trust. This was the first of the play equipment to be installed and it has proved to be an extremely popular attraction. It was installed in 2005, just in time for the school holidays. It is great to see the facility in use to this day and the way it is used. Children and teens can arrive alone but instantly be amongst friends and join in games.

Amphitheatre 

Age: All

A 60 ft wide semi-circle, stone and pebble Amphitheater with 3 rows of seats, created in 2012.  It is used weekly for our warm up sessions for junior park run but is also used by various performers including theatre groups, musicians, schools, sports groups, opera singers,  dancers, choirs, dog shows and more.
